Description
Not your usual skiing trip, this private opportunity, which can last one or more days, will allow you to ski on some great slopes with a professional freeride world qualifier skier.
The location of this trip is Yuzawa, Japan. A definite highlight of the Niigata prefecture, Yuzawa is home to several ski resorts, all of which have some fantastic ski runs. And on this trip, both you and I will get to enjoy them together. Another great aspect of the resorts and the runs is the area receives an abundance of snow every winter. As a result, the slopes are flush with fresh snow throughout the season.
During this trip, I will give you tips and advice on how to professionally enjoy the slopes. However, this is not an instructional trip. Instead, the focus is enjoyment. So if you want to just enjoy the slopes with a pro that is a perfectly viable option. The choice is yours.
It is required that all participants on this trip can ski at a minimum intermediate level. It is also important to know and acknowledge your limitations and not try to ski on runs you cannot handle.
Skiing with a professional is a great way to judge yourself as a skier because you can compare your methods with those utilized by somebody with years of experience. Thus giving you a chance to see where you can potentially improve. So if you want that chance, just send a request. I look forward to skiing with you on the slopes of Yuzawa.

I was born in Tokyo but have been based in Whistler, BC in Canada since high school. I moved in order to compete more regularly in Junior freeriding competitions. At the moment, I am traveling around the globe as I compete in the FWQ Tour. I am currently ranked 3rd in Japan.
In my spare time, I enjoy sharing my passion for freeriding with anyone and everyone who is interested in winter sports, including children. I love seeing people discover freeriding and realize how accessible it actually is.
When I am home in Japan, I typically ride in Hakuba and Echigo Yuzawa, as well as Sapporo and Asahidake in Hokkaido. I have been skiing around Hokkaido since I was 6 years old, and this is the place that first opened my eyes to freeriding. I would love to share it with you.
