There are places you visit, and there are places that quietly rearrange something inside you. Tusheti is the second kind. Tucked behind a mountain pass that feels less like a road and more like a trial testing whether you're worthy of what lies beyond. I hope, with my whole heart, that it stays exactly as it is: wild, quiet, and fiercely unique and unspoiled. Our guide, Tinatin, was extraordinary. Patient, deeply knowledgeable, and so evidently in love with this land that every day felt like a priceless gift rather than an itinerary. Nitsa's cheerfulness and discreet helpfulness kept us safe without us ever noticing the effort. Zuri worked tirelessly behind the scenes with the horses. We felt completely safe at every turn, as someone was always thinking three steps ahead of us. Every detail, from the trails to the meals to the horses, was managed with immense care, quietly, so we never had to carry the weight of logistics. All we had to do was be present, and being present there is pure magic. Days unfolded in a hush broken only by wind and hooves, butterflies drifting across mountain meadows, horses, cattle, and sheep roaming free across impossibly green slopes, shepherd dogs trotting along ridgelines like they'd been posted there by the mountains themselves. Everything wild, everything unbothered, everything exactly as it should be. The horses that carried us moved with incredible freedom, clearly loved, clearly at home, taking us through valleys annd mountains untouched by time. To stand beneath those skies, so dark and so densely packed with stars that the atmosphere itself seemed to breathe, was a privilege. This isn't a five-star review; it's a five-thousand-star one. Also, sustainability here is not a marketing buzzword. Tinatin's own business is woman-owned, and much the Lari we spent in re-injected back into the local community, into women-owned guesthouses and kitchens, into families who host travelers in their own homes, into a local economy that tourism, done this way, promises to nourish rather than hollow out. It felt less like a transaction and more like being folded, briefly, into a way of life we were lucky to witness. The food was a revelation: slow-cooked, healthy, delicious meals that tasted of generations of tradition. We slept in family guesthouses and local homes, simple rooms with warm blankets and soft beds, offering comfort rooted in warm hospitality rather than luxury. And here's the strange, honest truth of it: I almost don't want to write this review at all. Part of me wants Tusheti to remain secret, tucked away in the mountains, untouched by the kind of attention that changes places forever. But it deserves to be known, gently, by people who will love it the way it asks to be loved.

Tina was absolutely wonderful. The entire trip she had planned for us was well thought out and organized. The locations and her horses were stellar and she was a patient teacher with multiple of us having no horseback experience. We all felt comfortable and safe on the trip with her. Her level of professionalism can not be overstated. We enjoyed every minute with her and hope to be able to take another trip with her!

Tinatin was a brilliant guide. Always cheerful, well organised and professional, and also very knowledgeable about Georgia and it's history. She organised a memorable trip for us.

I highly recommend Tina as a guide for a horseriding trip. She always takes care of all of the team and let everyone enjoy the adventure independently of how advanced is in horse ride.
