Description

I invite you to spend two wonderful days ski touring in a beautiful area in Switzerland. Join me on this trip and discover the stunning Bernese Alps.

On this 2-day program we’ll enjoy ski touring from Jungfraujoch (3,471 meters) to Lötschenlücke (3,164 meters). These are two mountain passes of the Bernese Alps, a mountain range in western Switzerland. Also, if the weather allows it, we’ll have the chance to reach the summit of Ebnefluh, which has an altitude of 3,962 meters.

As for the accommodation, we’ll spend the night in Hollandia Hut, located above Lötschenlücke in the Canton of Valais. We’ll get to see the breathtaking views of a range full of glaciers and snow-covered peaks.

Please, keep in mind that you will need prior skiing experience and a very good level of fitness to join this tour.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
