Enjoy the unique Saga Dawa Festival while also hiking through some of Nepal and Tibet‘s best landscapes. This 21-day trip is filled with culture, nature, fun and excitement!

The Saga Dawa Festival celebrates the birth of Buddha during Tibet’s holiest month. During the celebration, people from different corners of the world visit Buddhist temples with their family and community. Everybody brings a small flag to add to the big flag. Tarboche, where the festival takes place, gets filled with people and colors!

We’ll meet at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and enjoy a day of sightseeing at the capital. We’ll then go to Zhangmu and Zhangmu to start the hiking part of the trip.

During the trip, we’ll spend some nights camping and others sleeping in guest houses, in order to really get to know the culture and traditions of the area.

So book your trip now and get ready to enjoy this unique festival! I would love to show you this beautiful celebration and hiking route.
