Join us on a incredible hike to discover the Grassy Bald, one of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park‘s most iconic features. This 3-day adventure on the Gregory Bald Loop, North Carolina is ideal for those looking for an exciting and rewarding hike.

Get ready for the breathtaking views along the way of the historically rich Cades Cove, the park and the mountains on this trail. Furthermore, there’s lots of opportunities to discover native wildlife, such as deer, elk, and black bears.

We’ll begin at the Little Tennessee River and ascend into the higher mountains. We’ll go through mountain creeks, forests, waterfalls, ridges and historic walls and foundations. On our second day, we’ll have a sunset dinner on the top of Gregory Bald and you’ll discover why it is so popular.

The whole trail covers 16 miles (26 kilometers) and we’ll be doing 4-7 miles each day. Therefore, we recommend this trip to physically active people, comfortable doing sports for several hours without a break. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you!

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
