Description

Are you looking for a new activity to do in winter? then this 3-day ice climbing course in the Aosta Valley could be your answer!

This interesting winter proposal is designed for people who want to learn the basics of ice climbing but also for those of you who want to improve and move to the next level.

I’ve chosen Cogne, in the Italian region of Aosta Valley, because of the great climbing opportunities that it offers. It’s one of the best European ice-climbing spots, plus its mountaineering atmosphere adds a lot to this course.

During the 3 days I will give you theoretical classes and we’ll put this knowledge in practice in real ice climbing routes. Off course both activities will be adapted based on your ice climbing level. So I can teach you the very basics or enable you to progress and improve your skills.

So request to book this trip, tell me about your objectives and join me on these amazing 3-day ice climbing course in the Aosta Valley.  We’ll put together a program tailored to your goals and expectations!

And  if you’re looking for other winter activities in this area, I can offer you some ski touring trips: Gran Paradiso Haute Route and Mont Blanc Massif Guided Freeride Skiing.

About the guide

I am a young Italian UIAGM - UVGAM guide and I live the mountain in all its aspects.

I love being in the mountains during every period of the year and I think each season is special and give us the possibility to discover a different side of the mountain: freeride skiing and ice climbing in winter, ski touring and ice/mixed routes in spring, rock climbing and trekking/alpinism in summer and autumn. Each experience lived in the mountain is unique and for me it is a real pleasure to help and assist people living something that sometimes is almost like a dream.

I speak fluently Italian, English, French and Spanish.

I live in Valtournenche, in the Matterhorn valley, and work with a well consolidated group of UIAGM mountain guides, so we can provide the professional support needed even in case of big groups of people: by contacting me you will always find a solution for your trip in the mountains!
