3-day splitboarding trip in Mount Etna

Mount Etna is situated between the provinces of Mesina and Catania, on the east coast of Sicily. Although its altitude has been varying due to its several eruptions, the mountain is around 3,322 meters above sea level and it is the highest active stratovolcano in Europe.

We’ll start our trip in Catania and enjoy an acclimatization day near Mount Etna. On day 2, we’ll reach the summit of the volcano and explore its stunning crater. Then, we’ll snowboard down from the top of the mountain. On the last day, we’ll enjoy more splitboarding on a different peak from the area. In addition, you will have the pleasure to taste the typical Italian food during your stay.

To join this trip, it is a requirement to have some prior splitboarding or skiing experience. You should also have a good fitness level.
