Would you like to go for a South American 6,000-meter ascent with an incredible view? Then come with me to the Bolivian Andes and get to the top of Chearoco.
Located at 6,127 meters above sea level, Chearoco belongs to the Cordillera Central in the Andes. I invite you to discover it on this 4-day program.
Our starting point will be La Paz, Bolivia’s capital city. On day 1, we’ll head to Titicaca Lake and the little city of Copacabana, situated by the lake’s shore. Then, we’ll continue driving and get to the spot in which we’ll begin our 3-hour hike to Pata Patani camp. On day 2, we’ll take a 4-hour trek to Chearoco high camp at 5,200 meters of altitude. Then, on day 3, we’ll start the ascent to the summit. From the top, we’ll be able to contemplate an incredible view of the Cordillera Real and Titicaca Lake. Finally, we’ll go back to the camp. The duration of this ascent will be of around 6-7 hours. On day 4, we’ll start our return journey to La Paz. On the way, we’ll get to see Jankho Khota Lake.
Please, take into account that it is mandatory to have prior mountaineering experience as well as a very good level of fitness for this trip. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you.
So, would you like to try a 6,000-meter peak in Bolivia? Then do not hesitate to send your request and book a place on this 4-day adventure.
