Do you want to learn how to ice climb in a stunning setting? Are you curious about this thrilling sport? Do you wish to visit one of the most beautiful parts of North America? Then, this 5 day trip is for you!

Let me guide you across the Provo Canyon in Utah. This ice-climbing paradise combines the best terrain to practice this sport with the most mesmerizing backdrop sceneries.

You don’t need any previous experience to join this trip. This course is designed so you can learn all the basics. Its goal is that you build solid ice climbing skills and that you feel confident about them. So we will be constantly practicing throughout our journey.

Some of the things we will go over during our 5 day course are:

The use of anchors
Different belaying techniques
Rope Management
Everything about knots
Rappelling
Protection systems
The use of crampons
Ice axe techniques

Moreover we will go over all the safety measures necessary in order to have a safe and fun adventure. The goal of this course is that on top of gaining knowledge and confidence, you feel completely safe all throughout our journey.

Additionally all of our groups are small. Thus, giving you a more intimate approach with nature, and a more exclusive learning experience.

Finally the setting of our trip will be in incredible spots. The Provo Canyon is a magnificent place that offers everything any adventurer could ask for. And all the places around, are equally impressive and beautiful.

Price: $210, $640, $1050 (+ tax, in USD). Aside from the guide fee, the trip includes: ice climbing gear, group camping equipment, food for the expedition (all the food while being out in the field), transportation during trip. The price does not include: personal clothing and equipment, food and lodging in town, trip insurance, airfare, gratuities.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
