Description

The remoteness and wildness of Yellowstone National Park in the winter makes for one of the best winter backcountry experiences in the world!

During this 5-day trip, we will discover the amazing natural & cultural history of this place. Yellowstone was established in 1872 and is the first national park in the country and in the whole world. Known for its amazing wildlife and geothermal features, this will be our perfect setting for our cross country skiing adventure.

Each day we will take our cross country skis and explore the snow-blanketed meadows, frozen river valleys, geysers and bubbling thermal pools. In solitude, peace and quiet participants will have the opportunity to observe mooses, bisons, bald eagles, wolves and other species in the most serene season of the year.

Every afternoon one of our certified guides will take you back to our cozy accommodations to enjoy some wonderful meals and get some rest for the following day.

This 5-day cross country skiing includes the best winter scenery in Yellowstone. So if you are interested, all you have to do is send us a request and get ready for this unique adventure!

I really loved it. Intro to rock climbing was an amazing experience. Explore-share team were so helpful in the process. The trip that I chose in the first place was not available and they managed to find alternatives and offer me the best possible solution in that situation.
