Half-day Cross-country skiing near Washington D.C. (Western Maryland)

Cross-country skiing is a fantastic way to spend a winter’s day. And on this half-day trip, we would like to guide you on a cross-country skiing adventure in western Maryland, near Washington D.C. Thus providing you with a great addition to a vacation you may be planning to the United States’ capital.

This trip is open to people of all skill levels. As a result, whether this is your first time cross-country skiing or your fiftieth, you can have a great time.

For beginners, this trip is a great way to learn how to properly and safely cross-country ski. You will learn a great deal over the course of a half-day. Some of what we will teach you includes equipment usage, how to get up from a fall, uphill techniques, the diagonal stride, double poling and much more. And for more advanced skiers, we will focus more on helping you improve upon your existing skills, while perhaps teaching you some new ones as well.

The scenery you will get to admire during this trip is lovely. Snow covered and peaceful, we have no doubt you will have an unbelievable experience.
