Are you ready to venture off the prim trails and explore deep within the lush forests of the Elk Mountains? Join one of our certified guides on this cross-country skiing day in Crested Butte, Colorado!

Crested Butte is the Nordic ski capital of Colorado. It features over 55 kilometers of Nordic track, 100 kilometers of pristine ski trail and even more backcountry terrain. We will have the opportunity to explore many different areas in Crested Butte based on your preference.

On this cross-country ski tour, we will delve deep within the majestic valleys in the heart of the Elk Mountains. The Elk Mountains are a colossal and graceful range sat in the wonderful Rocky Mountains.

This tour can be modified to suit your specific level. Whether you are an adept athlete or new to skiing, we have a guide to match your abilities and objectives! Our experienced guides can find whichever terrain suits you the best! We will travel fast and light, with a day pack and Nordic skis.

We will do lots of skiing, but we will also have time to pause and take in the amazing views. We can choose to visit Slate River, Nicklson Lake, Washington Gulch, Snodgrass, Brush Creek, Cement Creek and Mill Creek (Ohio Valley). Each of these serene locations offer a diverse terrain and unique landscape.
