The Hecho and Ansó valleys are among the most beautiful in the Pyrenees. The paths are full of historic landmarks and traditional ways of living since there are no ski resorts or big developments in the region. It is definitely the most untouched area and, therefore, will give you the real experience of the Pyrenees. That is why we’ll take our time to explore it, enjoying every meadow, river, flora, fauna and corner.

Some of the places we’ll visit include the Aisa valley, Riglos, San Juan de la Peña Monastery, and many others. You can check the itinerary below for a more detailed description of what we’ll be doing each day.

This is an intermediate type of trip recommended for people that can easily walk for 6 days. You don’t need to be extremely fit for this adventure. We can stop along the way as many times as you want either to enjoy the views or rest for a bit. In the afternoons, we’ll try to spot on a local bar or restaurant to explore the culture and cuisine. We’ll also be using a car to cover some distances. Make sure to review the list of necessary equipment below.

So book your trip now and discover the wonders of the Pyrenees. Come and join me on this incredible hike in the Hecho and Ansó valleys!

What people are saying about Pedro

Raquel

Pedro was so knowledgeable about the area, and graciously answered all our questions, even those unrelated to the hike. He was very kind in picking us up from Madrid for a small fee. He also took a bunch of photos of my husband and I during the trek, which I really appreciated since those are our only pictures together from our trip to Spain. I'd definitely recommend Pedro to anyone traveling to Madrid and interested in experiencing nature outside the city.
