Description

The Peruvian Cordillera Blanca is a breathtaking mountain region in the Andes. With its peaks, forests, glaciers, lakes and heritage it is an amazing place to visit. On this 6-day hiking journey to the southern Cordillera Blanca, I will show you some of its lesser known spots.

We will begin our trip by meeting in Huaraz. From there, we will drive to our trailhead at Canrey Chico and begin our trek. Throughout the following week, we will explore the region and camp out in the beautiful mountains. Every day we will cover a different stretch. Additionally, we will have porters to help us carry all our equipment and set up camp for added comfort. Also, we will enjoy meals prepared by our expedition chef. As we explore this southern part of the Cordillera Blanca, we will experience its stunning landscapes and wilderness. Finally, on the last day of our trip we will also get the chance to visit an ancient pre-Inca temple that dates back to 400-600 B.C.!

Because this six-day excursion in the mountains will be physically demanding we require that you are fit. Ideally you will also have previous mountaineering experience. Throughout the whole trip, I will be there to guide and help you with anything you need.

Are you ready for a unique adventure in the Peruvian Cordillera Blanca in the Andes? Then book your place now and join me on this exhilarating 6-day journey to some of its most beautiful spots!

Would you like a longer excursion in the region? Then our 12-day Alpamayo Trek could be just what you’re looking for!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
