Do you want to enjoy a different type of vacation with your family? A vacation full of adventures and new places to discover? Join me on this journey to explore the Gulf of Porto. Discover one of the most beautiful parts of Corsica on this week long trip.

This is one of my favorite trips because it has so many different fun and safe activities for people all ages, so even children can enjoy it. But it still has many thrilling parts, for those more adventurous folks.

Over a week of exploration, we’ll trek across mesmerizing coastal walks and discover many secret spots of the Gulf of Porto. One of the places I will guide you to is the Calanches de Piana. This marvelous place is formed with calanques, steep-walled and narrow inlets, that act like wonderful windows to the ocean.

We’ll also have many other water adventures! For instance, we’ll soak in an amazing swimming torrents. Additionally, we will venture through calm waters on a kayak in search of turtles. Moreover, we will visit the Scandola reserve on a boat. And, we’ll have an incredibly fun treasure hunt in a remote and isolated fishing village, that has no road access. So we can all feel like adventurers back in the day exploring new lands!

As for our accommodation, I also have many great proposals. For example, we will stay at Régine, an old oil mill that was renovated and turned into a charming cottage, with all the amenities of a nice hotel. We’ll also stay at gites, fully furnished and equipped holiday homes. That way, you can experience the real Corsican lifestyle.

Itinerary

Day 1: Calanche de Piana

We’ll transfer from Ajaccio to Serriera. And on the way, we’ll take a stroll around the beach. Also, we’ll stop at the Calanche de Piana. Finally, we’ll spend the night at Régine.

Day 2: Beach day at Gulf of Porto

On this day we’ll discover many secret spots and beaches. We’ll trek from one to the other, all of them equally impressive and gorgeous. And, we’ll end our day back at Régine.

Day 3: Factor Trail

First, we’ll venture through the famous Factor trail. It is an easy to hike trail that everyone can enjoy. Then, we’ll head to the Tuara Beach where we can have a nice family picnic. After that, we’ll head to a small fishing village that can we can only reach by the sea or by foot. Finally, we’ll stay at a Gite to recover energies and get a good night sleep.

Day 4: Scandola Reserve and a Treasure Hunt

We’ll begin our day with a treasure hunt so we can unveil all the history and every secret place of this remote and charming village. Then a boat will take us to the Scandola Reserve, a wild and dazzling sanctuary. And, we’ll end our day staying at a Gite in Galéria.

Day 5: Bathing in the Fangu

This day starts with a short transfer to the Fangu Valley. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy its fresh and pure waters that come straight from the mountain, and lay on a bed of volcanic rocks. And we’ll explore the rest of the torrent swimming and refreshing ourselves. We’ll also stay in Galéria for the night.

Day 6: Fangu Delta - Kayaking

Our last day will be equally fun. So we’ll kayak through the Fangu Delta Reserve to admire its wildlife. But we’ll have to pay attention and be quiet at parts so we can find the local turtles and other curious animals that inhabit this place. Finally, we’ll say goodbye and a transfer back to the Calvi airport will be waiting for you.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
