Alpine Climbing Training Day in Belgium

Are you planning an alpine climb soon? This program is ideal to train, go over the techniques, and get prepared so you are 100% ready for your alpine ascent. We will go to the best outdoor climbing spots in Belgium so you can maximize your chance to have a good climbing experience later in the Alps, or elsewhere.We can customize the climbing day according to your objective. Some of the techniques we’ll go over are rope management, roped climb progression, ridge climbing technics and belaying in multi-pitches. We can prioritize and adapt taking into account if you want to get prepared for an ascent involving glacier,  ice, or mixed climbing (like Mont Blanc or the Gran Paradiso), or for a more technical rock climbing route (like Matterhorn, Eiger, or peaks in the Ecrins range).The ideal spots for this alpine training day are Freyr (Falaise la Jeunesse) and Les Aiguilles de Chaleux. We’ll find there ridges, chimney climbing, multi-pitches, verti-hiking, and an environment where we can reproduce some of the situations you’ll have in higher altitudes.The program can be fine-tuned based on your experience, level, and goals, but the overall objective is to get a feeling of a mountaineering environment close to home.The training can be done all year round, but feasibility will depend on the weather.So contact me if you are interested in climbing in Belgium to train and get prepared for an alpine objective.
