The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a spectacular trekking route in the Annapurna region. It will take us around the entire Annapurna massif to the highest point on the trek at the famous Thorong La Pass (5,416m). On the way, we will hike through the stunning Gandaki gorge with Annapurna I flanking us on the east and Dhaulagiri to the west.  Additionally, we will get the chance to explore the Jomsom, Manang and Muktinath regions. We will enjoy splendid views of the Himalayas, of Mt. Manaslu and Himal Chuli and encounter a cultural mix of Gurung, Manangi and Thakali people in their traditional stone-walled villages.

This 12 days trek leads you to the heart of the Annapurna Region. The starting point is Besishahar. From there, a Sherpa Trekking guide will lead you through the beautiful Pisang valley, Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorang Phedi, Thorang La pass, Muktinath and finally Jomsom. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.

One night.
3-star Hotel

After arriving at the airport, you will be received by our staff and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner along with Nepalese cultural dance is provided. Short brief about the trek (preparation). Overnight at a Hotel.

Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu to Besishahar to Chame 2760 M

One night.

Welcome dinner along with Nepalese cultural dance is provided. Preparation for the trek. Overnight at a Hotel.

Day 3: Trek to Lower Pisang 3200 M

7 to 8 hours.

After breakfast, we will be leaving Kathmandu by local jeep to Besishahar to Chame. Drive approximately 7-8 hours.

Day 4: Trek to Manang 3500 M

Trekking begins; we will be heading towards Pisang from Chame. We can enjoy mesmerizing mountain views throughout our long day walk. About 25-30 minutes of an uphill climb we will reach upper Pisang to visit the Buddhist Monastery. Back to lower Manang. Overnight at a Guesthouse.

Day 5: Manang Acclimatization/ Rest Day

5 to 6 hours.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Manang. The walk leads us to a constant view of the high snow-capped peak. A short gradual walk from Pisang village we will see a dramatic view of Hongdae village. The great peaks of Gangapurna, Annapurna II, Tilicho peak, and on the right Chuli east, on the back Pisang peak, are spotted. Approximately 4-5 hours of a walk is must to reach Manang.

Day 6: Manang Trek to Yak Kharka

One day.

During this day you can hike up to Ice lake or Tea shop nearby Gangapurna base camp from where you will see panoramic Himalayan scenery including Mt.Manaslu, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna, Pisang peak, Thorung peak, Peak 38, Tilicho peak and overnight at Manang village.

Day 7: Trek to Thorang Phedi

4 to 5 hours.

The trail continues showing the astonishing view of the Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Cloche and the close-up views of Chuli’s peaks from mid and west. Small settlement area of Yak Kharka can be seen where we will be overstaying there.

Day 8: Trek to Muktinath 3,800m via Thorang-la 5,416 M

After a wonderful time at Manang, the trail continues towards the Thorang Phedi. The stunning view of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Cloche, and the close-up view of Chuli peaks are reflected. If the trekkers are completely fit and fine, the trek can be continued up to upper Phedi or high camp, where there are few teahouses and lodge reaching up here makes your trek easier next day and shortens the hour of walking towards the pass.

Day 9: Muktinath Trek to Jomsom

4 to 5 hours

The difficult path leads you to the beautiful destination are just like struggle done to reach the Thorang la pass. Approximately 5-6 hours of walk finishes at Jomsom.

Day 10: Flight to Pokhara

25 minutes
Guest House

After breakfast, Jomsom fly back to Pokhara (915m) fly approximately 25 minutes only, transfer to Pokhara hotel. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 11: Drive From Pokhara to Kathmandu

6 to 7 hours
Guest House

After breakfast, Pokhara- Kathmandu by tourist bus approximately 5-6 hours of drive. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 12: International Departure Homeward Bound

25 minutes.
None

Our journey comes to an end. Today as per your international flight time, our staff will transfer you to the airport for your final departure from Nepal the Land of High Himalaya.
