    Itinerary

Day 1: Full-Day Paine & Milodón Cave Excursion

Begin the day with a buffet breakfast at Hostel Amerindia before your 7:00 AM pick-up at reception. The adventure starts with a visit to the Milodón Cave Natural Monument, a fascinating site rich in natural history. From there, continue to the Serrano Entrance, the western gateway to Torres del Paine National Park.

Spend the day immersed in Patagonia’s dramatic landscapes: turquoise and emerald lakes, deep-blue icebergs, sharp mountain peaks, and abundant wildlife. Walk along the often windswept Grey Beach, feel the spray from the powerful Salto Grande waterfall, and admire the imposing Paine Massif and the iconic Cuernos del Paine. Enjoy a warm lunch at one of the park’s restaurants before continuing east to Cascada Paine, where the excursion concludes. Return to Puerto Natales in the evening.

Duration: 10 hours | Difficulty: Easy | Accommodation: Hostel Amerindia (optional)

Day 2: Trek to the Base of the Towers

After an early breakfast at Hostel Amerindia, depart at 7:00 AM for Torres del Paine National Park. Cross the vast Patagonian plains to Laguna Amarga, where you will register with CONAF park rangers, then continue to the Visitor Center, the starting point of today’s trek.

The trail follows the Ascencio Valley, winding through rolling hills, open terrain, and ancient lenga forests. The final ascent climbs through a large boulder field, leading to one of the most iconic viewpoints in South America: the Base of the Towers. At 900 meters above sea level, take in the breathtaking sight of the three granite towers rising above a striking turquoise glacial lake. After time for photos and a packed lunch, descend along the same trail back to Refugio Torre Central and the Visitor Center.

Distance: 22 km | Duration: 8–10 hours | Difficulty: Demanding | Accommodation: Hostel Amerindia (optional)

Day 3: Grey Lake Navigation & Glacier View

Enjoy a scenic 3-hour boat navigation on Grey Lake, departing from Grey Beach toward the impressive Grey Glacier. Sail alongside the Paine Massif for approximately 45 minutes before arriving at Refugio Grey, where there is a brief stop to exchange passengers hiking the W Circuit.

Continue navigating toward the glacier’s towering ice walls, with views of its vast extensions and sections of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. On the return journey, cross the lake among floating icebergs that drift alongside the boat. Relax with a Pisco Sour served with ancient glacial ice, while your onboard guide shares insights about the glacier and surrounding landscape.

Distance: 5 km | Duration: 4 hours | Difficulty: Easy | Accommodation: Hostel Amerindia (optional)

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
