Description

Are you looking for a canyoning program perfect for beginners? You can’t miss this chance in the Mont Avic Natural Park. Follow me on this half-day program and enjoy canyoning in the gorgeous Aosta Valley!

You will be welcomed at our base in Champdepraz.

After having given you all the material provided by the center that is needed for the descent, you will be explained how to wear it and use it.

A small briefing on the safety rules to keep in the canyon, and you will be taken with our shuttle to the beginning of the path.

We will enter the canyon and explore the stream by abseil , jumping in its clear waters and pools. The more adventurous can try jumps and water slides, but easier alternative routes will also be available.

Once finished we will take you back to the base.

The total duration for this adventure is 3.30hrs, and we will spend 2.30hrs in the canyon. The jump height is min 1m / max 10m, water slides height is min 2m / max 12m, and abseil 22m . Of course, you we will guide you every step of the way and make sure you are safe!

As I mentioned, this program is ideal for beginners, so it’s not necessary to have prior experience.

My name is Jari and I am a canyoner and canyoning guide.

I have been practicing canyoning since 2004 and I have been in contact with some of the major canyoning schools in Europe over the years. I am a certified canyoning guide by the C.I.C. (Commission Internationale de Canyon) and continue my training nowadays.

As far as my experience goes, I have collected more than 2000 runs in more than 200 different canyons in Italy, France, Switzerland, Spain and Nepal. I have also participated in several expeditions to discover and open new canyoning routes.

I was previously the owner of Wherever Adventure and organized canyoning excursions in all of northern Italy, collaborating with other outdoor companies. Currently, I am the owner of Canyoning Valle d’Aosta, which has been providing outings in the Aosta Valley since 1991.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
