Description

If you are looking for a great winter getaway, then the Catskills mountains are for you. Located 2 hours outside of New York City, this range offers some fantastic opportunities to have fun in the snow. And on this full day trip that will last approximately 8 hours, we would like to take you ice climbing!

While the Catskills don’t have the enormous ice falls you may find in other larger mountain ranges, there are still several great walls to climb. Those walls also come in a wide range of sizes as well, from 50 feet to 1000 feet. Hence giving people of all ice climbing skill levels an opportunity to enjoy this amazing activity.

When it comes to which walls you climb, to how you climb them, it is of the upmost importance to us that you have an experience that is as safe as it is fun. To ensure this, we will make sure that you are properly guided every step of the way. We will also supply you with all of the necessary equipment, from crampons to helmets.

Along with the thrill of ice climbing, the scenery around the Catskills is incredible. From forests blanketed in snow, to the surrounding snow capped peaks, you will feel like you are in a winter wonderland.

So if you want big ice walls or small ice walls. If you want multi-pitched ice walls, roadside slabs, or ravine climbs, the Catskills have what you are looking for. To enjoy this amazing area, all you have to do is send us a request. We’ll see to it you have a great time.
