The Cochamo Valley offers the best big wall climbing options for those who enjoy challenges on the rocks. This time I would like to invite you there and climb the amazing Cerro Laguna.
With 400 meters long, Cerro Laguna has incredible granite faces above the marvelous valley. Some of its current routes have been put by Brazilian climbers. The rock here is probably one of the best in Cochamo. Furthermore Cerro Laguna offers some easier lines for those with little experience.
During this 4 day adventure we'll climb two multi-pitch routes. One of them is the "Aleta de tiburón" or "The Shark’s Fin" in English. It has 10 pitches and 500 meters of height as well as a perfect crack system. The other one is the "Todo cambia" route, which has the same length but 9 pitches. Without a doubt, both are ultimate routes with an intermediate difficulty and the greatest views on the valley.
The best season to climb the Cerro Laguna is during the Chilean summer, from December till March. If I am not available at that time my brother Cristobal will take my place. We also lead many other interesting big wall climbing trips in the region. Please take a look at this 4-day climb in Pared Atardecer.
And if you want to start the booking process please fill out the form and get in touch with me. I'll be happy to be your guide during this big wall climbing program in Cochamo!

IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide from Chile
I was born in 1987, and since I was young I’ve been around the mountains, and for the past 12 years I’ve been practicing all mountain disciplines.
Some highlights of my climbing career: First Chilean to Cerro Torre via Ragni, first Torres del Paine alpine style traverse, and many other first ascents.
I did the IFMGA/UIAGM aspirant course in Bolivia in 2016, and recently got my full IFMGA certification in April 2018. I have also AIARE level 2 training.
Come and discover the mountains of Chile, a wonderful country, where we will have a unique experience together with a professional guide, in a truly unforgettable trip, it will be a pleasure to be able to guide you through some of the mountains of my country in your next vacations, i am sure will be the first of many adventures that we will enjoy together in the mountains of the Andes.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
