Description

Located in Banat, Romania, the Cheile Carasului National Park is a fantastic place to explore. And on this full-day trip, you will have the chance to trek through this amazing place. You will also have the chance the visit the incredible Comarnic Cave as well.

When it comes to the Comarnic Cave, you are in for an experience you will never forget. There are several layers to the cave, and it is full of amazing galleries and halls. There is also an abundance of black silex on the walls, which paints a sensational picture as it contrasts with the white limestone. Moreover, there is also a lot of wildlife in the cave as well, including several bat colonies. And with the tourist path within the cave stretching approximately 1,750 meters, you can be sure you will see a great deal.

This is a very easy trip. There are no technical aspects. Instead, you will get to leisurely make your way through the Cheile Carasului National Park, while admiring its gorgeous scenery. Furthermore, due to the ease of the trip, it is ideal for families. In fact, children as young as six years of age can participate. It is important however that participants do not suffer claustrophobia, as the cave can present some tight spaces.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
