Description
Situated less than an hour south of Cluj-Napoca, the Turda Gorge is the perfect place for a 2-day rock climbing adventure!
Our local and knowledgable guides are in the unique position to take you far off the beaten path and to some of the best climbing spots around.
Each morning, we will meet up in Cluj-Napoca and drive down to the trailhead. From here, we make a gorgeous hiking approach through the verdant canyon floor, before turning off onto an unmarked trail and climbing up to an exposed and isolated part of the canyon.
Enjoying great views back into the canyon as well as out over our surroundings in the Carpathian foothills, we will make various ascents over the course of both days. Depending on your skill level, we will find the perfect place to climb!
Before our trip comes to its conclusion, we will also head up a via ferrata route in order to get some panoramic views as well. Even the most inexperienced rock climbers will be able to climb the iron path and enjoy the feeling of summiting a craggy peak.
