I am an IFMGA mountain guide living in Cyprus. I have a passion for exploring the mountains since I was child. Kyperounda, the town where I was born and raised, was my first playground, the place where I started practising different outdoor activities.
First I learnt skiing. Then, I started training and taking part in races and competitions, traveling extensively in Europe. As I am very curious, I kept trying all kinds of sports until I discovered climbing and all its exciting possibilities.
I also developed both my academic and my practical skills in the university, where I studied Outdoor Studies and Sport Science. During that time, I obtained qualifications as a Mountain Leader and a Climber.
Teaching other people is one of the things I like the most. I find a deep joy in helping others to enjoy the mountains as much as I do.
The experience of all these years as well as my technical skills, have taken me closer to my goal: becoming an IFMGA mountain guide.

We were expecting to be taken somewhere that we could not have gone ourselves. One of the members of our group was a very experienced skier and we did not need to pay to have a guide take us to ski somewhere we could have skied on our own without paying.
We had an amazing day skiing the Vallée Blanche. Kyriakos was very patient with my 14 year old son, especially in the first treacherous crampon section. He kept us at a comfortable pace with frequent breaks and picture opportunities. The pics and videos he took were also great.
Kyriakos was an excellent guide for our descent of Vallee Blanche! He was accommodating toward what we were looking for in our tour. He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding alps area and enthusiastically shared that knowledge. He quickly assessed our abilities and let us go at an appropriate pace. I would recommend Kyriakos for any trip in the area.
A great experience! My guide was a humble PROFESSIONAL! All and all nice guy, kept me safe, explained everything well on what we were going to do where to go on the route. Had a great time even tho it was a bit over my "level". I would recommend using this company and your guide. 5/5.
Really great guide, friendly and helpful. Gave us some great tips and went on some super runs. His English was superb as well. Would recommend him again
We enjoy the 2 day very very much . Kyriakos is very professional , experience , high training skills and great attitude . We recommend on Kyriakos and will look forward for next time. Thanks, Eyal
Unfortunately there was no snow so we did not go to Vallée Blanche. We just did off-piste at Les grands Montets. Was good but not worth the money. Conditions were bad, but there was very poor communication. I think the trip should have been cancelled by the company. Was not really a back country experience we had hoped for. Not sure I would use this company again. The guide was able to give us the best skiing despite the conditions.

Kyriakos was awesome. 5 stars. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic 5 days mountaineering with Kyriakos, despite Gouter Refuge being shut and the Glaciers around Mont Blanc being generally unsafe. The ascent of Gran Paradiso is something I’ll remember for a very long time. A massive thank you to Kyriakos for everything that you taught us.
Highly recommended. Very successful trip over Leinzspitze and Nadelhorn. A very challenging climb made possible by the excellence of our two guides.
I had the pleasure to do the Arête des Cosmique climb with Kyriakos this summer. His is kind, easy to be around, and has a professional mindset. Due to this the climbing experience exceeded all expectations. When I am climbing in Europe in the future, it will definitely be with Kyriakos.
The trip rating is actually for summiting Gran Paradiso rather than Mont Blanc. Unfortunately the conditions for Mont Blanc were very poor with all the thawing of the permafrost enabling many rock slides. Explore-Share receives a 4 as the instructions for wiring funds were consistently incomplete. The address for Explore-Share that is on file with the bank is required not just the address of the bank.
Kyriakos was the best guide that we could asked for and more. Very professional and skilled in any aspect of mountaineering and climbing. We learned from him a lot , spend together 5 amazing days full of action.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
