Description

I invite you to join me in this beautiful snowshoeing hike in the Combins range, in the Alps. This is in fact one of my favourite hikes.

It's an opportunity to wake up in a mountain hut. Then to wake up in the true alpine environment of the Combins massif. We will be facing the famous Verbier ski resort.

This tour is adapted in particular to enjoy the animal life of the mountains in the winter. In addition, we will see and discuss the melting of the glaciers and its consequences.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cabane Brunet

Ascent to the Cabane Brunet from the Lourtier parking. Overnight in the mountain hut.

Duration 3hs

Day 2: Goli des Otanes

Ascending above the mountain hut until the Goli des Otanes. From there we enjoy incredible views of the Combins Massif.
