Description

The Cordillera Blanca (Spanish for “white range”) is a Peruvian sub-range of the Andes. This 6-day trip is your chance to explore this amazing area as we hike from Olleros to Chavin, one of the most popular routes in the region!

The Cordillera Blanca is almost entirely located within the Huascarán National Park. It includes several peaks over 6,000m and more than 500 glaciers. This hiking program will take us into a remote and unspoiled area with fantastic views!

We will follow an ancient pre Inca path crossing amazing spots such as the valleys of Uquian, Shoncopampa, Warmirumi and Carhuascancha, and the Mesapata viewpoint. Additionally, sleeping in mountain camps surrounded by snow capped peaks, glaciers and mountain lakes will make this a complete alpine adventure.

Furthermore, we will visit the archaeological complex of Chavin de Huantar, a pre-Inca temple that contains ruins and artifacts that date back to 1200 BC. You will be amazed by the impressive carved stonework, anthropomorphic figures and underground passages.

So, if you are up for this unbelievable 6-day hiking trip in the Cordillera Blanca, please contact me! I am sure this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you! You can take a look at the complete itinerary below!

Amazing trek with an amazing company. Our guide, David, was incredible and the assistants Teo and Alejandro were always incredibly positive. I would recommend this trek to anyone and it was the best cost per person I saw out of any company, by a mile.

Romer was amazing. He was very responsive and helpful. He always replied within a few hours (at the most), and was very accommodating when we needed to change things. He even went and paid a deposit at a local hotel to hold our reservation for us. I can't say enough good about Romer. The itinerary of the trip was a bit difficult. It started at a camp that was 13,700 above sea level, and the first day of trekking was 8 hours of hard terrain. Other treks I've done start lower and have a pace of 5-6 hours per day. Also, our guide Fredy was a bit inexperienced. He was a very kind person, but didn't provide much service to our small team.
