Romer, a certified local guide, wants you to join him for an unforgettable 6-day hiking program from Olleros to Chavin, in the amazing Cordillera Blanca!
May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct
The Cordillera Blanca (Spanish for “white range”) is a Peruvian sub-range of the Andes. This 6-day trip is your chance to explore this amazing area as we hike from Olleros to Chavin, one of the most popular routes in the region!
The Cordillera Blanca is almost entirely located within the Huascarán National Park. It includes several peaks over 6,000m and more than 500 glaciers. This hiking program will take us into a remote and unspoiled area with fantastic views!
We will follow an ancient pre Inca path crossing amazing spots such as the valleys of Uquian, Shoncopampa, Warmirumi and Carhuascancha, and the Mesapata viewpoint. Additionally, sleeping in mountain camps surrounded by snow capped peaks, glaciers and mountain lakes will make this a complete alpine adventure.
Furthermore, we will visit the archaeological complex of Chavin de Huantar, a pre-Inca temple that contains ruins and artifacts that date back to 1200 BC. You will be amazed by the impressive carved stonework, anthropomorphic figures and underground passages.
So, if you are up for this unbelievable 6-day hiking trip in the Cordillera Blanca, please contact me! I am sure this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you! You can take a look at the complete itinerary below!
I also offer other hiking trips in the same area. For example, check out this Santa Cruz 4-day tour.

I like mountains and I love nature, I practice cycling and hiking, I know very well the hiking trails of Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash.
The passion for nature was my inspiration to study Official Tourist Guide. I am experienced in travel organisation and logistics, especially adventure travel.
At present I’m a logistics manager at a travel agency with German clients, and I also have my own agency where I take care of the organisation of the adventure trips (trekking, mountaineering, mountain bike and day hikes).
Communication was great. Tour and guide was an awesome experience! Will be recommending to anyone we know going up that way for hiking! Cheers!
Romer was amazing. He was very responsive and helpful. He always replied within a few hours (at the most), and was very accommodating when we needed to change things. He even went and paid a deposit at a local hotel to hold our reservation for us. I can't say enough good about Romer. The itinerary of the trip was a bit difficult. It started at a camp that was 13,700 above sea level, and the first day of trekking was 8 hours of hard terrain. Other treks I've done start lower and have a pace of 5-6 hours per day. Also, our guide Fredy was a bit inexperienced. He was a very kind person, but didn't provide much service to our small team.
We had an incredible experience with Marco! Loved getting to know him - he’s not just a guide… he’s an amazing chef, friend, and he is incredibly knowledgeable on everything Peru! Thank you so much!!
Trip was good. Romer was not the guide. He just runs/owns a company. Explore-share offers nothing. Could have booked the exact same trip for half as much in Huaraz.

Amazing trek with an amazing company. Our guide, David, was incredible and the assistants Teo and Alejandro were always incredibly positive. I would recommend this trek to anyone and it was the best cost per person I saw out of any company, by a mile.
Our guide communicated poorly. He requested to meet the day before the trek and then gave us no information and did not respond to our messages for the entire day (12 hours). When he finally responded late the night before the trek we were told to meet with another random person in a public square. The next morning we learned that we had a different guide and that we were on an 8 person tour, not the 2 person tour we had booked and paid extra for. The tour did not have enough food to feed all 8 of us. Our tents leaked in the rain. There were countless other issues. We contacted explore share with our complaints and received no response. This was easily the worst organized tour I have been on in my entire life.
We had Darwin as a guide and Hilario as a chef and it was absolutely amazing! Darwin knew everything possible about hiking and the local mountains and Hilario was always cooking up something amazing, great guys and hosts!
