Highlights

  • Reach the top of Iran's highest mountain

  • Learn about Persian culture and history

  • Improve your hiking skills and challenge yourself physically and mentally

Join one of our guides at EST adventure on a magical mountain expedition in Iran. Not only will you get to climb the highest mountain in the country, but you’ll also be able to immerse yourself in Persian culture along the way.

Mount Damavand sits in the Mazandaran province of Iran. It’s actually still an active volcano, making this trip all the more exciting!

There are 16 routes to the summit, and we’ll take the more simple route. However, this is still an extremely challenging trip, so you’ll need to be in peak physical performance.

During the trip, we’ll spend some time acclimatising as this mountain sits at around 5671 metres. The climb to the summit itself will take around six to seven hours. We’ll do this climb in one day starting nice and early.

During the trip, we’ll also make time to explore the city of Tehran. This city holds centuries of tradition and history, and as you explore, you’ll learn more about Iran.

This is a truly unique experience and one that you do not want to miss. Request to book now to get closer to the trip of a lifetime.

If you’re looking for a shorter trip or something a little different, why not check out our 3-day canyoning and trekking trip in Serbia.
