Description

The Doubs Regional Nature Park is a beautiful protected natural area in the Jura massif in Switzerland. I will take you on a 4-day hiking tour, walking along stunning landscapes with lakes, waterfalls and rivers, discovering an area of amazing natural beauty.

This unique park ensures the preservation of the environment, population and patrimony of this territory. It extends over more than 40 km in the cantons of Jura, Bern and Neuchatel.

We will enjoy 4 relaxed days hiking along the course of the Doubs river, passing by symbolic and beautiful natural and cultural jewels such as the Saut du Doubs, a 27-meter high waterfall, the Swiss-French border village of Goumois or the medieval town of St. Ursanne.

This hike takes you to discover a unique place in Switzerland, where time seems to stand still and where sometimes you can not even be reached by mobile, enjoying a full immersion in nature.

We will stay in different hotels and we will have the opportunity to quench our thirst in Buvettes (small restaurants) along the way, or to take some snacks for our hike. We will also enjoy a picnic prepared with fresh local products.

Our starting point will be Les Brenets, a town in the district of Le Locle, in the canton of Neuchâtel**.** We will walk along the Doubs Park in 4 daily stages, from Les Brenets to St. Ursanne, where our hiking adventure finishes.

It is also possible to get packed lunches for the other 2 days (paying on the site). Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
