We invite you to combine an exciting snowshoeing adventure with rich French cuisine in Chamonix this winter.

Snowshoes are paddle-like and distribute weight over a larger surface area, allowing you to hike in deep snow. If you’ve never hiked in snowshoes before, don’t fret; this tour is suitable for people of all ability and fitness levels.

The French Alps are a winter wonderland this time of year, and as we explore we’ll have stunning views of several glaciers and the Mont Blanc Massif’s high peaks.

For lunch you’ll be treated to delicious local cuisine, which features fine cheese and meats, scrumptious desserts, local wine and mountain liqueur. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available upon request.

Energized by the hearty lunch, we’ll head back out to snowshoe some more before calling it a day.

Book this trip today to experience the thrill of snowshoeing, the beauty of the French Alps, and the exquisite local cuisine.

On my page you can check out other great excursions I offer, such as this private hiking tour in the mountains around Zermatt, Switzerland.

About the Guide

I am an UIMLA-certified Mountain Leader, working as a freelance international guide. I am passionate about the outdoors and I love guiding clients in different mountain environments. I am based in Chamonix, with the mountains on my doorstep, so I spend any spare time I have outside, mountaineering, rock climbing or swimming.

Along with guiding tours, I enjoy exploring new places and travelling to countries like Canada, New Zealand and Africa. I have a special love for the European Alps. The food, culture and landscape of the Italian Dolomites are my favorite!
