Let an IFMGA certified guide take you to explore the amazing slopes of the Greater Caucasus, on this 3-day heliboarding trip in Georgia.
Come join one of our team guides on this Greater Caucasus heliboarding 3-day tour to discover an incredibly beautiful and wild terrain.
The Greater Caucasus, also known as Caucasus Major, is the biggest mountain range of the Caucasus Mountains. It stretches for 1200 kilometres through the countries of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia, connecting the Black Sea with the Caspian Sea. And it’s considered the boundary between Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
And we’ll be based in Gudauri (2196 m), a ski resort town in the north east of Georgia, which lies only 120 kms north of Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital city and where the international airport is located.
From here we’ll fly every day to the surroundings of Mount Kazbek (5047 m), where snowboarders and skiers will enjoy more than 2000 square kilometres of amazing slopes full of tower peaks, huge alpine bowls and deep valleys.
There are riding and skiing options for every level and expectations. Some landings are over 3000 m and the highest is at 4200 m. But if the weather conditions don’t allows us to go as high, there are many other lower slopes with great runs.
So please send us a request if you want to try this 3-day heliboarding adventure in the Greater Caucasus! We’re eager to guide you up to these amazing slopes with awesome powder!
Double occupancy at Gudauri Marco Polo Hotel.
The price includes 12,500 vertical metres of skiing, with applicable refund based on 9,000 guaranteed vertical metres if weather conditions or other impediment preclude safe flying and skiing. In case weather conditions do not allow safe flying and we have to cancel the day, the following rules apply: I will try to reschedule your reservation to the next day, or if this is not possible, you will receive a refund for the deposit you paid with the following order: Multi-day package: the vertical metres you would have heli-skied that day will remain in your package; if you are unable to reach the guaranteed vertical by the end of your stay, you will then receive a refund for the unused metres (125 EUR per 1000 vertical metres unused). Decision to cancel the program is made in the morning of that particular day, once guides and pilots have carefully assessed the present weather and the weather forecast for the entire day. No refund will be given in whole or in part for unused days/runs/vertical meters/flying time within the package due to late arrival or early departure, sickness or injury, lack of fitness or poor skiing ability, etc.
