Situated on the southern slopes of the Lower Tauern mountain range, the Zederhaus Valley in Austria's Tamsweg District is home to a huge selection of ski touring options.
Whether you are relatively new to the sport or a seasoned pro, we are sure to find the perfect routes just for you.
After meeting up first thing in the morning, we will check out all of our gear and head right out onto the slopes.
Riedingtal nature park, Nahendfeld, Großkessel and/or Murtal are among the various destinations to which we can head up and ski back down.
Regardless of where we go, two things are sure to remain constant: we'll be surrounded by incredible natural beauty and enjoy plenty of high-quality powder.
For more advanced participants, we can simply skin up one of these local peaks before enjoying an excellent run back down.
For more novice off-piste skiers, we can go over various ski touring techniques and safety protocols as we ascend, before also enjoying a great ride back down.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this fun and scenic 1+ day ski touring adventure in the Zederhaus Valley of Austria's Tamsweg District!

Mountain Guide
Growing up in Salzburg's Lungau, Austria, my enthusiasm for the mountains has been rooted in me since childhood.
In winter, I passionately lead my guests on ski tours or show them the best runs while skiing off-piste. In later season I’m guiding in Norway (Lyngen/Senja). And another great passion is ice climbing on frozen waterfalls.
In summer I like to be out and about on rocks and ice in my local mountains but also abroad.
I look forward to go on tour together with you!

Klaus was a phenomenal guide. He was very experienced, extremely friendly and was an excellent teacher for multi-pitch rock climbing. He was able to push me through my mental limits without pressure and while always having our safety in mind and taught me everything I needed to know for my own multi-pitch adventures. In summary, Klaus was a phenomenal guide all around and I would recommend him to all my friends and family without a second thought! Thank you Klaus for your expert guidance and for giving me a once in a lifetime experience!

The whole experience was hard work seriously hard work. I had trained for months, but the pace we moved at, I did struggle at times and made mistakes. The weather will determine the pace you move because its your Guides job to help get you up and down safely, so be prepared. The Altitude did have an affect as well. Klau our guide was professional and did a marvellous job getting us up and down.
