Half-day Rafting on the Colorado River (Shoshone section), near Aspen

Just north of Aspen, along the Shoshone Rapids in the Colorado River, the perfect mix of adventure and leisure awaits!

Join one of our certified guides for an amazing day of white water rafting in the famous Colorado River through Glenwood Canyon.

After meeting first thing in the morning, we will head out on to the rapids and start our roughly 20 kilometer trip.

Our adventure begins with a bang, as we immediately find ourselves in the middle some Class II rapids. It will be nonstop action as we make our way through these rapids before hitting some calmer spots farther into the canyon.

From here, we will begin to meander along the canyon’s base, enjoying spectacular views of the red-rock walls and getting the chance to see some of the local wildlife, including bighorn sheep and birds of prey.

Class III rapids are generally of an intermediate level of difficulty. They would not be appropriate for smaller children, but are generally fine with older children and adults who have at least a bit of  previous experience.
