Description

Ever thought what it would be like to snowboard with a top pro? Well this is your chance, join a top 100 Freeride World Qualifier athlete on this fantastic day on the slopes of Hakuba, Japan!

My name is Go and I am rated as 2nd in Freeride Snowboarding in Japan, I’m also a top 100 Freeride World Qualifier athlete. I’m so excited to offer you this half-day trip for you to join me on the mountain and see what lines I take.

Hakuba is renowned for its deep powder snow. Located in the prefecture of Nagano, Hakuba lies about 250km northwest of Tokyo. There are endless peaks over 3000m that scatter the horizon and make for a spectacular backdrop to our riding.

With the variety of runs available and the quality of the snow, we are bound to have a great time together exploring my favourite runs. There are mogul pistes aplenty if that excites you or we could go for one of my favorite tree lines! If you´d rather hit the terrain park together, just let me know – I´ll be happy to give you some pointers.

I am a professional snowboarder and it is my passion. However, I will not be giving you lessons as I am neither a certified guide nor an instructor. We will stick to the ski resort pistes and I will be more than happy to give you tips on your technique!

It doesn’t matter whether you’re an intermediate snowboarder, highly experienced or even an instructor, we will have loads of fun snowboarding together on these slopes!

There are no pre-selected dates for this trip so I will arrange the groups on an on-demand basis.

You will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the activity. Please note that you will also need to hire appropriate insurance, covering skiing and snowboarding.

First time snowboarding at a new mountain can be a little intimidating now multiply that feeling when you are doing it in a different country. That was not the case here, Go Biyajima made me feel like I was riding in my back yard. Go is an excellent rider and really made me feel like it was just another day on the mountain riding with homies.
