Description

Have you ever wanted to ski with a professional? Have you ever wanted to see what they do that distinguishes them from the average skier? On this half-day, private trip, that is exactly what you will get to do. And you will get to do it on the slopes of Hokkaido, Japan.

Hokkaido is a place that anybody coming to Japan should make an effort to visit. The second largest island in the country, Hokkaido is beautiful any time of the year. However, during the winter season, it is especially wonderful, as it is blanketed by an abundance of powder. And it is on that powder where you can enjoy some fantastic skiing.

After years of practice and competition, I have become a very accomplished skier. In fact, I am the second ranked FWT skier in Japan, and the sixtieth FWT skier in the world. I am also a freeride world tour skier. And while it is impossible to show you everything it takes to ski as a professional in just a half-day, I can still show you a few things I hope will hope you develop further as a skier.

This ski trip is not an instructional one. Instead, it is about experienced skiers enjoying the slopes together. As a result, participants should be able to ski at a minimum intermediate level.

A great way to learn about skiing without being taught is watching how the best do it. And for a half-day, I would like to give you that chance. If you would like to enjoy it for yourself, just send a request. I look forward to skiing with you.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip.
Participant will need to have appropriate insurance coverage (including skiing and snowboarding).

Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
