Description

Even if you only have a few hours to enjoy Hokkaido, I definitely recommend you do so. The island, which is the second largest in Japan, is full of wonderful places to visit, including the capital of Sapporo.

On this group trip, which lasts a half-day, you will get to enjoy the slopes of one of Hokkaido’s best ski resorts. Furthermore, you will get to enjoy those slopes with a freeride world tour skier, who is ranked second in Japan and sixtieth in the world.

Despite being only a half-day long, I have no doubt you will nonetheless have a fantastic experience. During this trip, while I will not directly instruct you, I will show you the ways which a professional takes on the slopes. I can also show you which lines I choose and why, how I used the natural features of the terrain, and after half a day with me you’ll be a few steps closer to being an advanced freeride skier. And, of course, whenever the opportunity arises, I will gladly provide you with tips and advice.

I believe skiing with a professional is a great way to see where you can improve as a skier. To participate on this trip, you should be an experienced skier.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip.
Participant will need to have appropriate insurance coverage (including skiing and snowboarding).

Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
