Description

On this half-day trip, you will get to snowboard with freeride world qualifier snowboarder, Noriko on the beautiful slopes of Myoko.

Located in the Niigata prefecture of Japan, Myoko is home to 9 different mountain ski resorts. Those resorts include the following.

Akakura
Ikenotaira Onsen
Suginohara
Seki Onsen
Kyukamura
Myoko ski park
APA resort
Madarao Kogen
Tangram ski circus

Each one of these resorts has its own highlights. For example Suginohara has the longest run in all Japan.

After you’ve chosen where to snowboard, we will enjoy the slopes together. And because I am not a guide or instructor, my intention is for you to have a great time snowboarding, as opposed to walking you through a list of instructions. But I will happily give you tips and advice through the trip.

Boasting some of the best runs in Japan, Myoko is the perfect place to enjoy great snowboarding. And on this half-day trip you will get to enjoy those runs with a professional. You will get to see which runs I choose and why. You will then get to join me as we make our way down those runs.

It is important that before you participate on this trip you have a good understanding of your own skill level, which should be at least intermediate. You should also understand your own limitations, which is crucial when it comes to selecting the right run.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip. Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
