Description

Standing in the spectacular Mount Seymour Provincial Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, is Dog Mountain.

The mountain is a popular hike within the park, which is both a short and gentle climb, but contains a rocky and rooty route.

These conditions make the hike a moderate climb, despite its relative lack of altitude.

When you reach the summit of Dog Mountain, beautiful views open up for you to enjoy of the surrounding landscapes.

Stunning views of the neighbouring Mount Baker, Fraser Valley, the Lower Mainland, Stanley Park, and the Strait of Georgia are on full display.

If after conquering Dog Mountain you still have some energy left, we could extend the hike by heading to nearby Dinky Peak or around Mystery Lake.

During our ascent we will cross a collection of small babbling streams.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
