Type of Trip
Belledonne, part of the Dauphiné Alps in the French Alps, is a great place to enjoy your holidays. If you are looking for breathtaking views in France, this hiking tour is the perfect excuse!
In this opportunity, you can join me for a 1 or several-day trip (up to 3 days). The trip can be arranged depending on your preferences and schedule. You will start hiking from the Freydières in Revel until you reach Rivier d’Allemont, a characteristic mountain village. From here, you will continue hiking around Belledonne and enjoy some of its hidden beauties: dozens of peaks over 2.500 meters high, alpine lakes and more than 10 glaciers.
If you choose to spend more than one day on the Belledonne massif, you will enjoy spectacular landscapes over the Grand Pic, the highest peak of the massif: 2.980 meters high, and the Freydane glacier, 2.600 meters high.
If weather helps, you will also have the opportunity to complete the ascent of the Croix de Belledonne.
Request to book this trip and join me in this hiking tour in Belledonne Mountain during one, two or three days. I’ll be glad to guide you through this adventure!
If you love hiking, I also offer other tours in the French Alps. You may want to check out 1+day hiking tour in the Écrins Massif.

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
If you decide to cancel, you’ll get a 100% refund (minus fees) if the cancellation is notified up to 60 days before the start of the tour, a 75% refund (minus fees) if you cancel between 59 and 30 days before the start of the tour, and a 50% refund if you cancel between 29 and 21 days before the start of the tour. If you cancel less than 21 days before the first day of the tour, you won’t receive a refund. Take into account, however, that if accommodation, flights or transfers were included in the trip you booked, then a different policy may apply as the guide will be bound by the provider’s cancellation policy.
What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.

Return by minibus: 5€
Half board accommodation: around 100€ per person (varies depending on the group size).
About the Guide
For 15 years the Alps have been my playground. I am based at the doors of the Ecrins National Park close to Bourg d’Oisans where start the famous “Tour of Oisans”: wild trekking alongside glaciers and high summits.
I am qualified to supervise hiking and snowshoeing.
I’ve been dedicated to the mountain life since I was 12 years old. Currently, I am 48 and I practice with passion a lot of mountain activities: hiking, snowshoeing, mountain skiing, mountaineering and climbing.
I invite you to contact me if you want to discover the French, Swiss and Italian Alps, whether in summer or winter. It will be a pleasure for me to be your company in this adventure.
