Follow a unique hiking path and discover the best parts of the Urkiola National Park. For one day, I’ll take you exploring through the historical and cultural sites of this magical Spanish national park. Join me!
The Urkiola National Park is located between the provinces of Álava and Vizcaya. It is home to one of the most peculiar ecosystems in the Basque Country and the Aramotz peak. It has limestone cliffs, ravines, deep valleys and beech, oak and pine forests, ideal for climbers and hikers.
For this spectacular adventure, we’ll follow the less crowded trails to explore the history and legends of this national park. We’ll visit the Cave of the Cura de Santa Cruz, named after the priest Manuel Ignacio Santa Cruz y Loidi that escaped from prison and hid in the cave for three days.
What better way to clear your head from a busy working week than to get in touch with nature? Send your request and follow me on a spectacular hike to this impressive park.
