Dare try your hand at something new with this ice climbing initiation day in the Ecrins!
If you’re longing for a new challenge, this adrenaline-filled day will be perfect for you! This ice climbing initiation day is also suited to those who already have some experience but want to take it slow in the beginning of the season.
This 1-day course at the Ecrins in the Hautes Alpes will give you the chance to enjoy the mountains in a new and different way. The terrain here is perfect for you to give your first ice climbing steps, while taking in the wonderful landscape as you ascend on frozen waterfalls.
Join me and we will practice ascent and security techniques together. Additionally, we will learn how to use all the necessary equipment.
Although quite uncommon, ice climbing is available to almost everyone. You just need to be in good physical condition. I’ll take care of the rest!
I can take a maximum of 4 people on this 1-day outing. Also, you can contact me if you want to arrange a 2-day course.
I will take photos and video footage of this incredible experience and share them with you!
I am an IFMGA-certified mountain guide and passionate about the mountains and the outdoors! I’ve guided clients around the area for many years and will be delighted to introduce you to ice climbing.
If you’ve never tried ice climbing before, this is the chance you’ve been waiting for. Contact me and we’ll make plans together. You’ll have the time of your life!

What happens if I need to cancel the trip?
If you decide to cancel, you’ll get a 100% refund (minus fees) if the cancellation is notified up to 60 days before the start of the tour, a 75% refund (minus fees) if you cancel between 59 and 30 days before the start of the tour, and a 50% refund if you cancel between 29 and 21 days before the start of the tour. If you cancel less than 21 days before the first day of the tour, you won’t receive a refund. Take into account, however, that if accommodation, flights or transfers were included in the trip you booked, then a different policy may apply as the guide will be bound by the provider’s cancellation policy.
What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
About the Guide
I was born in 1990 and I am based in Toulon. I am a high mountain guide and photographer. I started loving climbing during my youth, and I later discovered alpinism. This took me to visit many paths in the Alps, as well as expeditions. At the same time, I became a high mountain guide when I was 24 because I loved it and wanted to share my passion.
I like to travel and I offer my services in the French massifs (Mercantour, Hautes Alpes, Chamonix) and abroad (Switzerland, Italy) all year long. I will do my best to enrich your journey with my experience and to guide you to reach you dream summit.
