Take your first steps into the world of rock climbing in the beautiful Scottish outdoors! Let me guide you on a fantastic introductory route out of Fort William in my Ben Nevis and Glencoe course!
Fort William is a major hub for climbing and trekking because of its location to Ben Nevis and the other amazing mountain routes in Scotland. Its surrounding landscape caters to first time climbers as well as seasoned veterans.
The switch from indoor climbing to facing real rock in the outdoors can be intimidating, and I can help you with this transition. With the incredible Scottish terrain as our office, I will show you the ropes of rock climbing.
We will focus on improving the skills and abilities you are already bringing to the mountain. I will build on your fundamentals by advancing your ropework and by making placing and removing gear second nature.
Establishing a comfort in the basics prepares you to take rock climbing to the next level and face new and exciting challenges. If you have been dreaming about scaling the real outdoors and are ready to leave the climbing gym, then this program is for you.
You should be physically prepared for this course, but it is for everyone. The most important requirement is a passion for the sport.
Book this Ben Nevis and Glencoe program now and make your dreams of climbing Scottish rock a reality!

What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
Please contact me if you are interested in a multi-day booking.
