This is an amazing 8-day trip, heliskiing and ski touring in the Kamchatka Peninsula, in Russia.
The Kamchatka peninsula is a remote volcanic island at the very Eastern tip of Russia, between the Okhotsk and Bering seas.
This incredible area is the size of Germany, Austria and Switzerland combined, yet it only has 378 000 inhabitants.
At 4790 metres, Mount Kljutschevskayay is the highest of the 200 volcanoes in this peninsula. In fact, Kamchatka has 29 active volcanoes!
For a long time, it has been a forbidden military area, which partly explains the lack of inhabitants and infrastructure. Most of the peninsula has remained as a natural wild state. It is a truly unique place because of its biodiversity, both on land and in the coastal waters.
Thanks to the helicopter, this wild and vast territory is now open to a few lucky skiers, with its wide virgin slopes facing the sea.
Every day, several thousand meters of vertical drop will put your legs to the test until they burn, from 3000 metres all the way down to the beach. Once there, the sturdy MI8 helicopter will take you back up onto another summit. The flights are spectacular!
During the trip, days generally end in the warm thermal baths close to the hotel.
There are 8 days of unforgettable runs on this trip, gliding along the fjords facing the sea. We'll also ski down the sides of volcanoes between the fuming vents and through vast forests of tall conifers. And in case of inclement weather, we'll be skiing inside of the forest.
Please send me a request if you wish to know more about this unique ski experience. It will be my pleasure to bring you there and guide you in this awesome environment!

With my name I can’t make you believe that I am mountaineer of origin! I am a breton migrant worker who was stranded in the Pyrénées and later in the Alps…
What I like most of my job is the incredible mountain’s support to weave the real relationships in a short time and often the quality with people whom I guide to these beautiful summits. It is with a great pleasure that I put at your disposal my 25 years of experience in the climbing, mountaineering and skiing playgrounds to guide you in your adventure projects. I am also ski instructor and mountain rescuer. See you soon!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
