Looking for a program to explore a fantastic natural area and enjoy an amazing sportive activity? Then this 2-day traverse across La Pedriza, in Madrid, is perfect for you.

La Pedriza is a granite massif in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, the largest protected area in Madrid. Due to its geologic interest and sportive possibilities, it’s a very popular destination and an amazing place to go hiking.

On this 2-day program, I’ll take you through the trail called Integral de la Pedriza, which will lead us across the park to the highest point in the area. As for the accommodation, we’ll spend the night in a bivouac under the light of the stars. Then, on the second day of the trip, we’ll continue our hiked explore Manzanares el Real.

If you don’t wish to spend the night in this area, there is also the possibility to take a 1-day version of the program. Don’t hesitate to contact me and we’ll arrange the itinerary according to your preferences.

Please, take into account that this program has a medium level of difficulty and that we’ll face an elevation gain of around 500 meters per day. Therefore, it’s mandatory to have a very good physical condition as well as some previous experience.

I started going out to the mountains with my grandfather when I was a kid. I did my first "climbs" to Iconic Spanish mountains as Almanzor, Peñalara or Aitzgorri learning from him. That days woke up something that's been walking with me since then, the love for the outdoors and the adventure.

More than ten years ago I came back to Spain after seven years of "walkabout" in different countries and mountain ranges discovering people, cultures, and myself. I came for one reason, to turn my passion into my work. I start studying for became a mountain guide and I've been doing it since then.

I've guided groups and private tours in five continents. I've been lucky to share with people the beauty of places like Patagonia, Nepal, New Zealand, Japan, Scotland, Peru, the Alps, Morocco and many more.
I also work as instructor in Madrid's school training future mountain guides.

Now, I run along with two other partners, Palan and Daniel, our own guiding company in La Pedriza, 45 minutes driving from Madrid. We are specialised as local guides in the place we love the most and spend most part of the year in. Guadarrama National Park and La Pedriza.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
