Description

Widely considered to be the most popular hiking circuit in the Langtang Valley, the Langtang Ganjala Pass Trek offers you the opportunity to see some of Nepal's most stunning scenery.

Over the course of 21 days, the trek takes you over various mountain passes, past thick rhododendron forests, to traditional villages and though empty stretches of wilderness.

As we go, there will be plenty of opportunities to see local flora and fauna as well as meet local people and visit various cultural sites.

While the highlight of the trip is crossing Ganjala Pass, from which we will get incredible views of both Mount Everest and the Annapurna Range, we will also enjoy stunning views out over many other Himalayan peaks along the way.

The adventure begins after we transfer from Kathmandu to Chisopani. From here, we will hike through thick rhododendron and fir forests, heading up over mountain passes and down into verdant valleys.

As we traverse the pristine Himalayan wilderness, we will have the chance to visit ancient monasteries and traditional cheese factories.

If you make the trek in late August, we may even reach the Gosainkunda lakes for the full moon festival, which attracts hundreds of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims from around the world.

However, regardless of when we trek, there will be plenty of great views and cultural experiences to have.

At the end of the trek, we will return to Kathmandu and have one last day to explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the capital before you have to return home.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this scenic, challenging but incredible 21-day Langtang Ganjala Pass Trek from Kathmandu!
