Located in the Himalayas of Nepal, the Lobuche Peak, while not one of the most famous peaks in the region is definitely worth a visit. And, what makes scaling this peak so amazing is that reaching the summit is but one part of the adventure.
During this expedition, you will get to spend several days in the Nepalese capital city of Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you will get to explore the wonderful city, as well as the nearby valley, which is full of fantastic views. Afterwards, you will get to enjoy the famous, scenic and unforgettable flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From that point, we will begin our trek to the peak. During the trek, you will get to visit, explore and spend the night in several different places. Those places include Namche Bazaar, the village of Lobuche, Tengboche and Pheriche. Each one of these places will give you an opportunity to enjoy and absorb local Nepalese culture.
When it comes to the peak itself, the climb is extraordinary. The views you will get from the peak’s west summit are incredible. And while the peak is in the Himalayas, it is not as difficult as other, more famous peaks. However, it is important that participants on this trip have some prior mountaineering experience and are in good physical condition.
Have always wanted to scale a beautiful peak in the Nepalese Himalayas? Then send a request and join me on this 16 day trek to the west summit of Lobuche. I know you will have a truly memorable experience.

IFMGA / UIAGM Mountain guide
Born in 11 August 1975 in the mountainous district of Jiri / Dolakha, I’ve spend my last 23 years in the trekking and mountaineering sector and this is undergoing till date...
I’m a certified mountain guide of the UIAGM/IFMGA/IVBV. I’m also a certified Mountaineering Instructor from Ecole Nationale de Ski et Alpinism in France (ENSA). I'm serving Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) and Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association (NMIA) as a Mountaineering Instructor.
I’ve gained enormous experience in the Himalaya as well as in the Alps. I’ve reached the top of 4000 meters peaks of the Alps and the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest (8848m) which I successfully summited 7 times.
I summit at least one 8000 meters mountain every year with my clients.
I'm also very much involved in the Nepali mountain rescue team with which I have saved lives of locals and foreigners trying to reach our peaks.
Beside being a professional mountain guide, I’ve been very much involved with the “Save the Everest” cleaning campaign that took place in spring 2011.
If you are thinking about coming to Nepal for a trek, to climb a peak or to go for a large expedition, please get in touch with me. I will be happy to support you in your organisation and make sure you can reach the objective you have set for yourself.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
