Description

Situated in the Calanques National Park, Marseilleveyre is a limestone massif that reaches 432 meters of altitude in the south coast of Marseille. Come with me on this program and spend 1 day exploring this natural spot in the French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

This 1-day hiking trip will take us through the limestone cliffs and caves of Marseilleveyre. We’ll explore gorgeous natural spots such as the Fontaine de Voire and Plateau de l’Homme Mort. Also, during the hike, we’ll get to contemplate breathtaking panoramas of the massif above the sea, as well as the nearby islands, such as Maïre Island, Jarre Island and Island Plane. I can assure you the views will be outstanding!

As for the requirements, it’s not mandatory to have prior experience for this trip. However, keep in mind it’s important to have a good level of fitness.

I booked a tour with Fabrice on late May, definitely the highlight of my holiday, we went on a hike around Casterino It was a relaxed hike with great sights of mountain forests and lakes, I got to see some of the local fauna and flora of the park, ibex, marmots, chamois, although not as much as they would be in the area, possibly because of the wolfs (we saw some footprints). Overall it is a great way to see the surroundings. I would definitely recommend Fabrice as a guide for your next hike!
