Description

Join me on this 3-days of mountain biking from Puerto Vallarta to Tuito in Jalisco state, and we will discover and explore this truly special part of Mexico in a fun and rewarding way, as we mountain bike on the roads that wind through magnificent scenery, from the idyllic beaches on the coast, to dry and arid landscapes, lovely lagoons and lakes, and towering and majestic hills and mountains.

Puerto Vallarta is a beach resort city that lies on the Pacific Ocean coast in the state of Jalisco. It is a very popular tourist destination, for Mexican people as well as Americans and Canadians, and is very well connected to the rest of the state.

We begin on the first morning by meeting in Puerto Vallarta, and from there we head out riding each day.

The first ride will entail biking 87km South towards the town of El Tuito, a quaint and rustique place full of very traditional Mexican buildings and culture.

The second ride will be going 83km Northeast towards La Virgen, before the final day involves heading North towards Sayulita, an amazing beach village on the coast with some of the prettiest ocean views in Mexico.

The scenery on all of the rides is superb, with the mountains looming in the background and all sorts of interesting and fascinating cultural buildings, areas and artifacts dotting the landscape.

We finish the trip back in Puerto Vallarta having ridden along some memorable terrain in Jalisco and had an immense amount of fun.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
