Are you interested in increasing your strength and endurance, while enjoying some of the local scenery? Then this one-day trail running program is right for you!

Join me for this three part session, in which we will go over the best practices for strengthening muscles through trail running in the morning, put these to use on an afternoon trail run in the Sonian Forest and wind down with a question and answer session about what we’ve done.

Located on the outskirts of Brussels, the Sonian Forest is a marvelous natural forest full on interconnected pathways, lakes and wildlife. It’s the perfect activity for those who enjoy running and live in Brussels or are traveling here for several days and are looking to escape into the outdoors.

Since the maximum number of participants is limited to 12, this is an excellent opportunity to work directly with myself or another experienced trail runner and learn what the best postures and techniques are.

There will be plenty of opportunities for one-on-one advice as well as a good atmosphere for socializing with others during the run.

We will also be able to enjoy this beautiful forest, which was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2017. Composed of deciduous trees and numerous lakes, we might even get the chance to spot some local wildlife and learn a bit about the forest’s social and ecologic importance to Brussels and Belgium.

About the Guide


Passionate about trail running, the outdoors and everything that nature provides to us, I got certified as a mountain leader by the Club Alpin Belge. I also work as a school teacher and devote my free time to my artistic pursuits.

Maps are another of my big passions. I collect them and spend hours looking at them and searching for the best itineraries in the Alps, the Andes, the Carpathians...and then I take you to explore them, running or walking.

My mission is to share with you the happiness that a high altitude lake can provide, the comfort that one can find in a rustic mountain hut and the excitement of walking along a mountain ridge. Looking forward to meeting you!

Il y a juste deux petites semaines, j\'ai participé à un weekend rando Trek Atout... Un superbe weekend ! Ok, la météo nous a fait un super cadeau : de la belle neige sur nos Fagnes!
