Upon arriving at Oslo Airport, we assemble the group before setting off for our first destination, Hallingdal. The 2.5-hour drive takes us to our accommodation, where we settle in and review the week's itinerary over a welcome dinner in the evening.
After breakfast, we set out on the trails in Hallingdal, which offers a diverse mix of purpose-built and natural routes. We ease into the week by exploring some of the area's best trails, enjoying our first day of biking in Norway. After the ride, we begin our 2.5-hour journey to our first main destination, Sogndal.
Sogndal, the regional hub of the Sognefjord, is also the mountain biking capital of the fjords. On our first day, we explore the loamy trails around Sogndal and Kaupanger, where stunning routes are paired with breathtaking fjord views.
After breakfast, we take transport up to the mountains, with Vorfjellet as our goal for the day. The ascent follows a stunning trail, leading to breathtaking views at the summit before a thrilling descent. We then connect to a trail that takes us all the way down to the fjord. From there, we return to our lodging for our final night in Sogndal on this tour.
After an early breakfast, we head straight to Gudbrandsdalen for an unforgettable ride on our way to Alvdal. The 3.5-hour drive from Sogndal takes us over Sognefjellet, one of Norway’s most scenic mountain passes. Upon arrival, we spend the day on shuttle-assisted rides through some of the country’s best natural trails. Once we've spent our energy on the trails, we continue the final 2.5-hour drive to Alvdal, where we settle in at Urørt Lodge, our base for the rest of the tour.
After a hearty breakfast, we set out on the day's planned route, following historic trails from the area's old mines. Our journey traces the former cableway that once connected the mines to the railway in Alvdal. We wrap up the tour with a thrilling descent from the top of the old cableway, finishing right at our lodging at Urørt Lodge.
After breakfast, we head to Mt. Tron, where a shuttle takes us up to a mountain plateau at 1,300 meters along Norway’s second-highest mountain road. From there, we descend 800 vertical meters on incredible singletrack, with a variety of top-tier mountain biking options to choose from. In the evening, we gather at the lodge for a farewell dinner, reflecting on an unforgettable week in Norway.
You will be transferred to the airport.
