Description

The Catalan Pyrenees are a wonderland for all hikers and nature lovers. I invite you to discover this Spanish treasure on this exciting 4-day hiking tour!

There are many ways to explore the Pyrenees, hiking is one of the most fun ways to do it! The Catalan Pyrenees offer many different possibilities, read ahead to find out some of the places we can go.

I propose a 4 days complete hike during which you’ll obtain a clear idea about this very special valley, and understand the ancient glacial structure where we will be hiking. Some of the options for the 4-day itinerary include the Benasque Valley, Val d'Aran, and Val de Boi, and the possibility of discovering parks such as Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici and Posets-Maladeta.

We will see lakes, cascades, natural passes, and valleys carved into old granite. One of the possible highlights will be visiting the traditional pass that connects France to Spain, a very peculiar site with astonishing views, from where we will admire the tallest peak in the Pyrenees: pic Aneto 4,404 mt, (11167,98 feet). Behind it, we’ll admire the whole mountain range on the Spanish side.

We can define together the ideal itinerary based on your experience, fitness level and expectations. As an example, a sample itinerary could cover on average per day 12 km ( 7,45 miles), 500 meters of unevenness ( 1640,42 feet) and 5 to 7 hours hike.

As you can see, the Catalan Pyrenees offer endless possibilities.  Ready to explore them? Then send your request and book your place!  I will make sure to accommodate to your wishes and needs.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
